RECREATION INCLUSION & SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT
Our RISE Program—Recreation, Inclusion, and Social Engagement—offers enriching before and after school experiences designed to support the whole child. Centered around fun and connection, RISE provides students with opportunities to engage in games, arts and crafts, music, sensory play, and more. Every activity is designed to encourage social interaction, build friendships, and foster a sense of belonging in a safe, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
Before School
A typical morning in the RISE program often begins with a calming sensory activity to ease students into their day. From there, students can select from a variety of engaging options, including free play, structured games, or creative crafts. Participating in our morning RISE program helps students transition smoothly and confidently into their academic day.

After School
A typical afternoon in the RISE Program begins with a thoughtful and supportive transition from the structured school environment to a more relaxed, student-centered setting. This shift allows students to unwind while continuing to build on important social, emotional, and recreational skills. Once in the RISE program, students are invited to participate in a variety of after-school enrichment activities designed to spark creativity, foster friendships, and encourage active engagement. These may include group games, arts and crafts, music, movement, and themed club sessions based on student interests.

In addition to indoor activities, students often have the opportunity to engage in structured play on the playground, where they can develop gross motor skills, practice cooperative play, and enjoy fresh air in a safe and supportive environment. Leisure choice time is also an important part of the afternoon, giving students the freedom to choose calming or preferred activities that help them wind down and end their day on a positive note.

Our goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where students look forward to coming each day. Please note that start and end times for our after-school care program vary depending on the campus of attendance.
